Penny has over 25 years recruitment agency experience with Premier Staff Selection, Options Consulting and Talent Options, partnering with HR, line managers and senior administrators to address their recruitment needs.
Her experience includes entry to senior level recruitment within industry sectors such as design, architecture, engineering, construction, IT, telecoms, banking, finance and insurance, advertising and professional services, health, industry associations and not for profit, to name a few.
During her career, Penny has advised and mentored HR and line management clients in best practice recruitment, selection, placement and probation performance reviews.
She has also successfully mentored thousands of candidates seeking employment opportunities through practical assistance with how to work effectively with recruitment agencies, interview coaching and resume and cover letter preparation.
As a Fellow of the Recruitment Consulting Services Association (RCSA), Penny has contributed her time and knowledge as a committee member for recommendations, policy, awards and industry events.
Grahame Barrett – Principal Consultant
Grahame is a HR and Client Relationship Management professional with extensive experience in business leadership, management and consulting. This experience has been gained in industries such as IT and outsourcing, financial services, manufacturing, distribution and retail, print, packaging and imaging, infrastructure and property services, professional services, federal and state government, tertiary education, not for profit and industry associations.
Grahame’s 20 years human resources management experience has been augmented by significant periods in large account sales, channel marketing and service profit centre management, together with internal and external consultancy. He has a strong mentoring bias offering the ability to co create, develop and implement tailored solutions for individuals to advance in early, mid-career, re-entry, redirection or late career phases.
Grahame’s Australian and international corporate experience in human resources, profit centre management and consulting sees him uniquely equipped to assist businesses with pre and end of employment programs, projects and case management services.
Alex Conway – Outplacement / Career Transition
For over 12 years now Alex has been developing expertise in outplacement, career management, coaching and organizational restructure. She consulted for EPR, the Donington group, Harris Smith and more recently with Bravo and CDL, through which she works across a wide industry sector and also with international executives. She also contracted to the Australian College of Applied Psychology, where she gained exposure to the not for profit sector and also formalized some of her knowledge through additional study.
Alex’s corporate background was in sales and marketing, initially in publishing and then with retail companies. She has been involved in two start-up organizations, one supplying to the major retailers and pharmacies, growing the turnover from $750,000 to $8m in seven years and again starting her own recruitment company from zero to a $3m turnover in five years. Whilst working in recruitment she developed an interest not only in helping clients obtain opportunities but also in helping them with their careers. Alex then made a decision to sell the business and after several months of research changed direction to move into the career management sector.
Alex has worked with corporate clients across diverse industry sectors, from industrial, to retail and construction, helping them plan organisational restructures, train their Managers and of course consult with the impacted individuals. Her clients range from administration staff, to Engineers, to Sales Managers and senior Executives. She has also worked with clients looking at changing their career direction, which may include Board positions, or a complete change of industry or sector and pace, including individuals considering retirement, part or full.
Her understanding of corporate life and recruitment/executive search has been invaluable when working with clients and helping them navigate the many paths available to find opportunities and job/life satisfaction.

Michaela is an Executive Coach and Image Consultant with specialist expertise in personal branding and executive styling, leadership and talent development, recruitment, and career management.
She has over 20 years global experience in fast paced multi-disciplinary organisations across 3 continents in banking, insurance, hospitality, retail and professional services.
In her image consulting, Michaela works closely with private and corporate clients, helping them to raise their profile, and increase personal impact, confidence and influence to reflect a personal brand that is in line with where they want to be.
In her coaching work she focuses on accelerating leadership growth and performance, enhancing career opportunities and actively navigating career transitions.
